Getting to Know You at MUVEnation

An informal, online class I took a few years ago focused on teaching information literacy skills (library/research-related skills) to students. Other teaching librarians from other states conducted the class. Each module had a presentation followed by exercises, chats, etc. My project was to develop a lesson plan to teach Nursing students (who are distance learners) about the resources and services of the library. The moderators (mentors) looked at each student's final project and made suggestions and comments. It was a very useful class in that colleagues shared with participants what they had learned as experienced teachers.
