I don't consider myself to be a pioneer, but I'm very open to new ideas and ways of using technology in teaching. Our library is pretty good about keeping up with technological developments. Open Access publication is a particular interest of mine. I have tried to stay current with developments in this expanding area. A co-worker and I have even been invited to give presentations on OA to English classes, on a periodic basis.
Our university will participate in the developing Texas Digital Library. This is an exciting field!
